This table presents the discovery statistics for the IC. It is based on the Historic IC. The columns are explained below (1...10 are called "status", which is roughly an object type). The 58 discoverers are presented in detail on the observers page (note that 3 persons - Al Sufi, Bellamy and W. Parsons - are not the very discoverers, but mentioned by Dreyer). The last row gives the sums of the columns. The individual sums add to 5386, the number of entries in the original IC.
